Career: West Virginia (NCAA, Div. 1, 2001-2005).
“Joe” is a big shooting guard with a great body. He is a strong three-point shooter (37.9 % in his senior year in college) and most of shots are taken from the perimeter. With his bulk, he’s able to compete for the rebounds (4.1 per game). He also sees the floor very well (3.1 assists). Herber has a great overall knowledge of the game. He started each of the 35 games with his team this year. On the international level, he still needs to adapt to be able to compete at the highest level with the NT. He spent most of the summer in 2003 playing for Germany in the World University Games in South Korea ... During his four years in the NCAA, he carried a 4.0 GPA in Political science and was elected as a 2004 Academic All-American. |
