France playmaker Joseph Gomis is looking for a new club after agreeing to end his contract with LEB side CB Valladolid.
Gomis, who represented the national team at EuroBasket 2007 but missed this summer's qualifying games through injury, said: "I know that at this point is going to be difficult to find a club because many of the teams are already done but having become a free agent, perhaps I will have more options.
"To end the contract with Valladolid was the best option for the club and for myself seeing as my aim is to play and I knew that here, I couldn't do that."
Gomis was one of the top players for Valladolid last season but was unable to help the team avoid relegation.
With a reported salary of 260,000 euros, it wasn't possible for CB Valladolid to keep the player under the same contract in the LEB.
Kosta Perovic, meanwhile, didn't need long to find a new team after being waived by the Golden State Warriors.
The Serbia national team center has signed for Pamesa Valencia in the ACB.
