What Miguel Miranda brings to the Portuguese side is a player who can come off of the bench at anytime and perform like one of the starters. Miranda has built an entire career out of working hard which makes up for his relative lack of skill, size and speed. The Massarelos native works very hard on defense to compensate for his lack of physical power. He is capable of stepping out of the box to knock down a three-pointer as well as being a decent passer. Miranda benefited a lot by moving from Porto to Queluz, where he got more playing time and more responsibilities on offense. A move to Ovarense followed where he averaged 6.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 21 minutes per game last season.
