Career: NH Ostrava (Czech Republic-NBL, 1999-2007)

Zbynek made the National Team despite playing for a fairly "average" Czech team NH Ostrava, which typically finds themselves battling for a the final playoff spot towards the end of the season. Zbynek Pospisil is a mobile small forward with excellent instincts under the basket. He has some good moves with his back to the basket but he must improve his outside shooting to really become a threat. For his club team he is indispensable as both an offensive and defensive rebounder. He gives 100 percent in practice and was rewarded by being named to the Czech All Star Game three times. Since he has been playing for a club that has failed to qualify for the European Cup the past eight years, his only international basketball experience comes from representing his country.
