Superstar Pau Gasol had precautionary tests at hospital after complaining of pain in the toes on his left foot at Spain's national team practice on Monday but results were negative.
The 27-year-old will skip Tuesday's training but should play in a friendly game against Venezuela on Wednesday as the world champions step up their preparations for EuroBasket 2007.
Spain's team doctor, Delfin Galiano, said on the Spanish basketball federation's official website: "We've given him 24 hours rest.
"We are not worried about his condition because this is the same kind of situation (Juan Carlos) Navarro had four days ago and he's been training normally."
Gasol suffered a serious foot injury in the semi-final victory over Argentina at the FIBA World Championship last year which required surgery and knocked him out of the start of the NBA season.
He ended up playing in 59 games and averaging career highs in points (20.8) and rebounds (9.8), though Memphis missed the play-offs with the league's worst record of 22 wins and 60 defeats.
