Career: Lichterfelde (Germany-2.Bundesliga, 1999-2001), Penn State (USA-NCAA Div. 1, 2001-04), Panellinios (Greece-ESAKE, 2004), Artland Dragons (Germany-Bundesliga, 2004-05), Drac Inca (Spain-LEB, 2005-06), Ankara (Turkey-TBL. 2006-07).
Jagla may be the biggest surprise on the current roster. Not that the 26 year-old is a rookie under coach Bauermann, but his attitude will be completely different this summer. Coming off a great year with Turk Telekom Ankara, Jagla is on the verge of fulfilling his potential. The 2.13m forward has often been compared to Dirk Nowitzki if only for the fact that the two Germans look so much alike. On the court the differences are more obvious though Jagla does have a soft touch and can extend his range even beyond the three-point mark. But what sets him apart is his nose for the ball close to the basket. A solid rebounder, Jagla likes to tip in missed shots or create second chance points.
