Andric caught the basketball bug in fourth grade from his older brother, Djivo, who was already playing for the Dubrovnik basketball club. When the Dubrovnik native was 17 he came to Cibona where he played for the club's youth team.  He then spent two years in Dubrava on loan where, during his second season, he averaged 12.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.  Cibona brought him back before the 2005-06 season and last year, at only 21, he was one of the most important players in the team. Andric has a strong body, is very quick for his size and has good range for an inside player. The 22-year-old is still improving and needs to polish his game, but he has NBA potential, even if he needs to add some weight to play at the highest level.
