Team 2008-09: PARTIZAN BEOGRAD (Serbia-Superleague). Career: Vojvodina Novi Sad (Serbia - Superleague, 2000-06), Partizan Beograd (Serbia-Superleague 2006-2009)
The combo guard will be hoping to have more of an impact than he did at the last EuroBasket tournament when he played only 14 minutes without making any kind of impression. Won European gold with the Serbian U20 team in 2006 and has since developed into a key member of Partizans team at Euroleague level. A favourite of Coach Ivkovic, Tepic played more minutes than any other player during qualifying and harnessed his wide range of skills to good effect. A solid shooter and passer, he is consistent for both club and country with his numbers reflecting this fact. A good decision maker, doesn't jack up threes unless he is set and is also a smart player at the defensive end - something recognised by Euroleague champions Panathinaikos who have signed him on a three year deal. |
