PLAYER PROFILE

Career: MKKS Rybnik (Poland-Div. 2, Youth Teams, 2000-01), WKS Slask Wroclaw (Poland-U-18 Team, 2002-04), Znicz Pruszkow (Poland-Div. 2, 2004-05), Unia Tarnow (Poland-Div. 1, 2005-06), Polpharma Starogard Gd. (Poland-Div. 1, 2006-07)

Kitzinger was the sensation of the Polish league last season as he won a three-point shooting competition at the 2007 All-Star Game, beating Andrzej Pluta in the final round. He started his career in Poland’s second division but very quickly progressed, especially last year. An excellent distance shooter, he can use screens to get his shot off or play one-on-one. He is also a solid defender. Kitzinger has a quick release and can shoot right in the face of his defender. On several occasions, especially in playoff games against champion Prokom Trefl Sopot , he showed that he had a killer instinct and is a consummate clutch player who gets more dangerous as the game wears on.
