In 2006, Uros Slokar tried his luck in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors but he didn't succeed. He only played 80 minutes in the league and came back to Europe the next season. Before crossing the Atlantic Ocean, Uros had played three years in the Italian league. Last summer, he came back to Italy. Uros hasn't met all the expectations his potential had created because of his shyness. He's a talented and versatile big man. He's able to guard his opponent well but isn't always solid enough on the boards. However observers still wait for him to have his coming out party, maybe in September. |
