Gasper Vidmar is part of the Slovenian connection at Fenerbahçe Ulker with Emir Preldzic, two solid Slovenian prospects both born in September 1987. As with Preldzic, Vidmar was a tremendous player with the U20 Slovenian national team, as he averaged 15.9 points, 9.8 boards and 1.3 blocks per game during the 2007 U20 European Championship Men in Nova Gorica. For the moment, he hasn't been as successful as his countryman but it's just a question of time. Indeed he's very talented in offence and solid in defence.
