Belgium beat Denmark 80-66 for a second straight victory in Group C of the additional qualifying tournament for this summer's EuroBasket in Spain.
Fresh off their 70-45 demolition of Ukraine in Kiev, Axel Hervelle and Co. returned home full of confidence but encountered a determined Danish side that led 37-33 at half-time.
Peter Johansen scored 17 of his team-high 19 points for Denmark in the first half.
When the Belgians emerged from the changing rooms for the second half, though, they got a spark from Christophe Beghin, a 2.05m forward who scored six points in an 8-0 surge that left the hosts with a 41-37 advantage.
Beghin would go on to score 10 of his 15 points in the game in the quarter.
The closest Denmark would get the rest of the way was at 48-46 with 3:01 remaining in the third period after a pair of free throws from Chanan Colman.
Sam Van Rossom replied with a three-ball for Belgium, and they matched the Danes blow for blow before pulling away in the fourth quarter.
Hervelle had a game-high 22 points for Belgium.
The Danes' biggest star, Christian Drejer, was unavailable for a second straight game.
Denmark's next game is on August 15 in Kiev against Ukraine, while Belgium travel to Tel Aviv to face Israel in a battle of unbeatens.
