The Czech Republic beat Finland 87-64 in a friendly on Tuesday as part of their preparations for EuroBasket 2007.
Star men Maurice Whitfield and Lubos Barton both played in the win, but neither found their form as Jiri Welsch finished the leading scorer with 14 points.
"We were not aggressive enough in the first half," said Czech coach Zdenek Hummel.
"We played better in the second half but there is still a lot of work ahead of us.
"Whitfield and Barton did not show any fantastic performances today but they will help us a lot in our next games."
The Czechs begin their EuroBasket campaign against Germany on September 3, with Lithuania and Turkey also awaiting them in Group C.
