The ultimate professional, Betts is a veteran warrior who has years of Euroleague experience behind him and comes into the tournament looking rejuvenated. After not being retained by Cajasol last summer and struggling with injury, he missed most of qualifying and did not even have a club at the start of the season. However he finally pitched up at Aris in mid-season where he used all of his experience to help make a significant impact - so much so that they have handed him another year long contract after a string of impressive performances. His competency in the pick and roll combined with his sheer size and presence in the low post are attributes that Great Britain will use to good effect. Reliability is unquestionable.
