PLAYER PROFILE
Team 2008-09: IRONI ASHKELON (Israel-BSL)
Career: Hapoel Jerusalem (Israel-D1, 1998-2001), California (USA-NCAA, 2001-04), PAOK Thessaloniki (Greece-HEBA, 2004-05), AEK Athens (Greece-HEBA, 2005-06), TEC Spirou Charleroi (Belgium-D1, 2006-07), AEL Larissa (Greece-HEBA, 2007), Hapoel Holon (Israel-BSL, 2007-08), Ironi Ashkelon (Israel-BSL, 2008-09)

One of the most experienced big guys for Israel is a threat any team could use. He spent three seasons in college, played for three Greeks teams and one Belgium before returning to Israel at just the right time as a member of the 2008 Hapoel Holon team that shocked Maccabi in the finals and won the title as a newcomer. Coming off an average season with Ironi Ashkelon, Tamir will try to prove he can still deliver at the highest levels. His great handle from distance will help Israel to pull out the opponents big guys and create havoc.
