In April 2009, Iwo left his homeland for the first time, landing in Roseto, in the Italian Lega due. Prior to that he had played two seasons for one of the top team in Poland, Turow Zgorzelec, where he didn't get much playing time. Kitzinger can still help a team thanks to his ability to play well in the clutch. He is very solid and tough mentally and likes to have the ball in money time. He's a complete player on the offensive side of the court as he can shoot, pass, play the one-on-one game and has soft hands behind the three-point line. On the defensive end, the 24-year-old is also tough. But after a quick improvement, he seems to have stagnated.
