The invisible leader of Adecco Estudiantes, a player that is never hyped and that helps his teams in all situations. An outstanding defender, Carlos Jiménez is always ready to guard the opponent’s best player, as well as helping his teammates with his blocked shots and steals to start fast breaks. Even if he plays small forward, he is a great rebounder due to his wingspan, leaping ability and instinct. Jiménez is a very intelligent player who understands the game and usually takes good decisions. That is why he ended fifth in the assists-per-game standings in the ACB and takes so few shots: he is a fine shooter but he will only take the shot if he is open and feels that is the best option for the team.
