Amazed the crowd with an outstanding performance to earn MVP honours at the 2004 U18 European Championship Men and earns a spot with the seniors just one year later. At age 19, Sergio Rodríguez is not only one of the top prospects in Europe, but also one of the most creative, quick and spectacular playmakers in the continent. A great ball handler and dribbler, Rodríguez excels in passing  and loves to give spectacular assists. Can totally influence a game with his play, whether good or bad. He had a great debut with Estudiantes in the ACB and the Euroleague last season and this call to the national team might only be the first of many in the years to come.
